Trial Set for February 28 While Boyd Andrews is In Hospital Unable to Appear

William Carter, negro bootblack, xvas arraigmod on an "assault and battery \vith a weapon" charge by Public Prosecutor George K. Mills today, but inability of Boyd Andrews—who is in Hilo Memorial hospital after being slashed 47 times Saturday evening with a pocket knife—to appear in court caused a three-\veelc postponement ' of the trial. It will be that long before Andrews ean be released from the hospitaī, Mr. Mills said he learned frooa the attending physīcian this morning.
