A Serious Accident.

——— S. Ishukawa, a recently arrived 1 Japanese. met with a serious accident, in jumping from a Nuuanu street car. Not beiug familiar with the modern conveyance, he ! ljumped off backwards and fell under the wheels. His right arm was crushed and an ampntation heeame necessary. It was performed at the Queen’s Hospital | where the sufferer is now, doing as well as ean be expected under the circurastances.
