As the freighter Hjades is at the Pacific Mail dock, the P*-k cK was docked, at the Naval -tation wharf. The Peking left San Francisco on Saturday. January 11, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon and had a smooth and pleasant voyage to this port. The City of Peking brought three ays later mall and papers, and a large number of through passengers. Chief Officer Hanford D. Buckroan not on board the Peking this vojac as he ha* ben granted lea%'e of absence. His position is being filled now by H. L. Jones. It is doubtful
