Makahiki to New Location

Makahiki Commissioner and Office of Hawaiian Affairs Trustee Thomas K. (UncleTommy) Kaulukukui announced that the 1985 Makahiki Hawaiian games and sporting events will be changed to a new loeation and day. The day and date have been tentatively set for Friday. Aug. 2. at Queen Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. The first two Makahikis were held Saturdays at Ala Moana Beach Park.
