Damien Kaleo Kaina is the first Hana recipient of an award from the Native Hawaiian Loan Fund. Kaina, who has a tent rental business, applied for an $18,000 loan. It was approved at the May 31 meeting of the NHRLF Advisory Board in Honolulu.
