OHA Update

Lana'i aquaculture hui formed Lāna'i participants in an OHA-, UH-, and state-sponsored aquaculture project have formed a hui following their April 9 workshop. (For information on the aquaculture project see last month's Ka Wai Ola.) Members of the cooperative, Lāna'i Aquaculture Hui, will work together to produce and market Chinese catfish on the island. The nine participants in the project - five of whom are native Hawaiian - began workshops in February using tanks built with money from the Community Development Corporation.
