Voters in the Nov. 8 general election and special OHA eleetion ean watch prospective candidates speak about their goals as elected officials. The program, "Candidates in Focus," will air from I to 4 p.m. and repeat from 7 to 10 p.m. eaeh day from October 28 to November 3. Oeeanie Cablevision, through 'Ōlelo the Corporation for Community Television will show the program on cable ehannel 24 (and on Chronicle). Candidates running for eleetion to the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Governor and Lt.
Governor, state«Senate and House, Board of Education, OHA, and City Council were allowed up to nine minutes of unedited time to present their views on political issues. When the program airs, individual candidates' slots will be grouped together by poliūeal race.
For example, gubernatorial candidates will be shown one after the other. As of October 28, viewers may eall a hoūine at 834-0007 extension 1741 to find out the schedule of candidates.
