UH Foundation annouces Abraham Piʻianaiʻa Scholarships
The University of Hawai'i Foundation has announced the Abraham Pi'ianai'a Graduate Scholarship for Hawaiian and and part-Hawaiian students pursuing a graduate program in subjects included in Hawaiian studies in a non-professional curriculum. $1,000 will be awarded a graduate student on the basis of past achievement and future goals. The scholarship award will be applied to tuition for the fall 1996 and spring 1997 semesters.
EIigibility requirements 1. Applicant must be presently enrolled or have been accepted in a University of Hawai'i at Mānoa program. 2. Applicant must submit a one page statement of his/her goals in his/her graduate program in relation to subjects in Hawaiian studies.
3. Applicant must submit an official transcript of undergraduate work (and graduate program, where applieahle). 4. Applicant must provide proof of Hawaiian ancestry.
