Interested in helping support an innovative, bi-lingual charter school in Honolulu that teaches its curriculum through both Hawaiian and English? Hālau Kū Māna, a New Century Public Charter School, looks to the community for kōkua in filling its library with Hawaiian history and culture titles for their students. Hālau Kū Māna is one of 12 member schools of Nā Lei Na'auao, I whose mission is in establishing models of education that are eom-munity-designed and managed, and are reflective of Hawaiian values.
