Music scholarship

If you are a college sophomore or higher attending a Hawai'i college or university and have a strong interest in Hawaiian music and/or poetry,

you may qualify for a $2,500 scholarship. The Bill Murata Memorial Scholarship is awarded by the Hawai'i Academy of Recording Arts, and will be presented to two students in May at the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards.
