OHA's Washington, D.C., Bureau Office Open House
On June 12, OHA trustees and staff hosted an Open House to celebrate the new location of the organization's D.C. Bureau Office at 504 C Street NE.
More than 100 kama'āina stopped by the new location of OHA's Washington, D.C., Bureau Office for an office blessing and celebration. Pictured top left are Trustees Dan Ahuna, John Waihe'e, Kalei Akalea, Hulu Lindsey, Mililani Trask, Keoni Souza and Luana Alapa. Guests included Maui County Mayor Richard Bissen and representatives from organizations such as Papa Ola Lōleahi and the Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association. Also stopping by were a number of congressional staffers, former OHA D.C. interns, and other friends and advocates from the Washington area, including Dana Haunanio-Lore, director of the Maryland Business Opportunity Center.
