Burglars Make Attempt at Places of Pari and Emmeluth. The usual quorum of burglaries were not absent Tuesday night One man prowled around Geo. H Parts' place on the Plains after midn ght but was scared off by Paris »ao sal lied forth with a gun. Another burglary was attempted at Emmelnth’s store on King street where the burglar entered by sma-h--ing a window but did not secure anything. Finally a native stole a watch from a workingman at the Hackfeld build ing He was recognized, however, and was caught by the police later in the day.
