"FDR - The Wrecker"

Herewith is presented a table taken from authoritative souces, showing just how President Franklin Delano Roosevelt has "wrecked" the industry of Hawaii by doubling corporation dividends here in comparison with those paid in 1932 — the nation's last complete year under Hapless Herbert Hoover.

The first column shows the dividends paid by each of 41 Hawaiian corporations this year up to September 30 — for the first three-quarters of the year. The second column shows the same dividends paid by the respective corporations up to September 30, 1932.

The third column shows the figure at which the stock of each corporation was quoted as of October 24, the fourth column shows the highest price at which the stock was sold in 1932, and the fifth column shows the lowest price at which the stock of each of the corporations was sold in 1932.
