Rice

I am one of the many kanaka maoli living in Hālawa's concrete prison system that would like to congratulate OHA trustees and staff for an outstanding performanee in accomplishing the task needed to defend the native rights of kanaka maoli. The proper steps have been taken to stand strong in the majestic fight to overcome the battles with Mr. Harold "Freddy" Rice. Although the legal battles continue, this outcome has demonstrated that the United States of America continues to recognize its flaws that disdain the dignity of voting for our beloved independent nation. We kanaka maoli in Hālawa send our blessings and support to OHA's team. "Kūlia i ka nu'u" to those who supported OHA. 'Onipa'a and mana are need to overcome an ambitious man who seems not to appreciate what life and ke akua have given to him and his beautiful family. William Paleka III Hālawa
