Mākua madness

This Bill Prescott represents the true meaning of haole (no spirit and no soul). This guy must have a steel plate loose in his head or his 'okole, whichever one he speaks through. His last sentence in his letter about the "Mākua misperception" ("Letters," Oct. Ka Wai Ohi), reads, quote: "Doesn't it make more sense to mālama 'life' rather than a damn plant or snail?" I'm 52 years old and I met some idiots in my life, but this guy is in the top three. One more thing, Mr. Prescott, what the United States is doing in Mākua is killing life, and practicing to kill more. You need to learn how to pray. It will help you to understand life, Mr. Prescott. Maopopo? I 'ole 'a'ole maopopo? Gaby Gouveia jr.
