Human skeletal remains were found at TMK: (2) 1-4-006:014 in Kawaipapa Ahupua'a, Hāna District, on Maui. Land Grant awardees for this property include the families of Kahananui, Kaioiole, Maui, and Kahunaaiole. The remains are more than 50 years old and are thought to be of Hawaiian or part-Hawaiian ancestry. They will be preserved in plaee.
