Moloka'i Models of Sustainability

On Molokū'i, the OHA Trustees visited wilh Kunani and Ipolani Nihipali at their Ho'olehua homesteod, o model for sustainable living. Their home is made from well-insuloted shipping containers. Solar panels provide enough electricity for their entire home. The Nihipalis have planted a variety of crops including a niu nursery, ulu, fruit trees, etc. Ihe Trustees olso visited L & R Form that grows the fomous Moloka'i pumle sweet pototo.
